Donations
What does the pantry need? A question the pantry staff and volunteers are asked often. Personal essentials are non-food items that are in demand. Linking food assistance to good nutrition is a national trend and our pantry is looking to do the same. Guests that are diabetic, require low sodium or low fat foods currently have a limited choice. So here are a few options to consider.
- Kleenex / Facial Tissue
- Paper Towels
- Bar soap
- Shampoo
- Laundry Soap
- Coffee and Tea
- Sugar and Flour
- Condiments (salad dressing, ketchup, BBQ sauce, etc)
- Low Salt Foods
- Low Sugar Foods
- Fat Free Foods
Guidelines
All food must be un-opened and sealed in the original package. "Out of Condition" i.e. dented, rusted, leaking products cannot be accepted. All food items are checked for expiration dates.
